To get Gems in the First Sea, head straight to the Buggy Island and defeat the Strong Buggy Pirates. Do not forget to participate in PvP battles, as they can bring you some Gems too.
2. The AFK Trick
On Zou Island, head to the top of the tower and use the Stationary ability. This will cause an explosion which will wipe out most of the monsters around the place of launch.The same trick works on Udon Island in the Second Sea. Find an area with plenty of NPCs, and use your Stationary Ability to take down multiple enemies at once. With good positioning, you can collect up to 100 Gems every time you use this ability.
3. Third Sea Pica Dungeon
Inside the Third Sea's Pica Dungeon, you will need to defeat a powerful boss. Teamwork is suggested for something like this, to enjoy defeating this boss, use your stationary ability and place it on top of the boss.
Then, position yourself out of the reach of the boss in a higher place.
Now, just keep spamming your ability until the boss is defeated. Your efforts will be generously rewarded with up to 3,000 Gems, along with a rare chance to obtain valuable accessories dropped by the boss.
