How Do I Fix Low FPS After An Update on Hunt Showdown?
Sometimes updating a game can cause a lot of performance issues. While there is always a loss of performance the more the game is updated and expanded.
In Hunt, this is often due to a shader cache issue. To fix this and increase your performance, you can clear the Shader cache.
If you installed Steam and Hunt: Showdown to the default location and are using an English installation of Windows, you should be able to copy and paste the following path into the bar at the top of your File Explorer.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hunt Showdown\user
Here you will want to delete the shaders folder.
If you can't use this path for any reason, follow the steps below!
Step 1: Finding the Hunt: Showdown game directory
Go to your library.
Right-click Hunt: Showdown and select Properties.
Under Installed files, click Browse...
You should see your game directory using this method.
Step 2: Navigate to the correct folder
Once you are in the Hunt: Showdown folder, you are looking for the user folder.
Enter it and you're almost done.
Step 3: Clear the shader cache
